Peyton Manning Contacted By Chiefs And Broncos, According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that of the variety of teams that have been rumored to be interested in the services of former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, two have officially reached out a day after Manning was cut:

Schefter is also reporting that a total of 12 teams reached out to Manning's representatives (other rumored suitors are Seattle, Washington, Arizona and Miami, among others), and that Manning would prefer to stay in the AFC rather than go to a NFC squad. Complicating matters will be where Manning ranks for specific teams relative to other free agent candidates, as well as the NFL Draft. Miami has been reportedly focused on Manning first, and then Packers backup Matt Flynn second.
