NFL Free Agency 2012: Chiefs Bringing in TE Dallas Clark For Visit

Stay connected for news and updates

Coming off a disappointing 7-9 season, the Chiefs are keeping themselves busy in the offseason with some free agents. According to Jack Harry of KSHB, former Colts tight end Dallas Clark is one of a few notable free agents the Chiefs are courting.

Clark has spent all nine years of his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts. Last season, he had 34 catches for 352 yards and two touchdown, but it was his first without Peyton Manning throwing the passes. Kansas City was 25th in the league in passing offense last season, and their leading receiver among tight ends, Leonard Pope, signed with the Steelers last month. So obviously Clark would be a big addition for the Chiefs.

As for Atogwe, he had 60 tackles in 13 games with the Redskins last season. He spent the previous six seasons with the Rams.
