Brandon Flowers and Jalil Brown are unlikely to play in Kansas City's final preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Kansas City Chiefs secondary is currently banged up. Brandon Flowers has missed each preseason game so far, and Jalil Brown, Flowers' replacement, exited Kansas City's Week 3 preseason game against the Seahawks.

Brown went down with a groin injury, which is unfortunate for both the Chiefs and Brown. Brown, entering his second season in the NFL, has played very well in training camp so far.

Flowers' status also remains unknown. Last week, Flowers was seen wearing a walking boot on his left foot. Flowers has missed the majority of August practices because of an injury to his left heel.

It seems highly unlikely that either Brown or Flowers will play in Kansas City's preseason finale against Green Bay.

Romeo Crennel and the Chiefs will certainly hope that Flowers is healthy and able to play in Kansas City's Week 1 opener against the Atlanta Falcons, who boast one of the best passing attacks in the league.
