Tamba Hali Says Chiefs Need Dwayne Bowe To Win AFC West

Stay connected for news and updates

When it comes to asking the Kansas City Chiefs front office or coaching staff, there's no official word regarding Dwayne Bowe's absence from the team's training camp activities as he's holding out after being tagged with the franchise label earlier this offseason. In fact, Pioli said yesterday in an interview on The Dan Patrick Show that it wouldn't be respectful to either side to comment. Apparently Tamba Hali doesn't agree.

The Chiefs top pass rusher understands well what it means to be an impact performer and the difference such a player can make, so having someone high-profile and level-headed like Hali speaking out is both a rare and interesting occurrence.

Bowe is set to make $9.5 million as a franchise player in 2012.
