Chiefs Training Camp: Romeo Crennel Provides Injury Updates

Stay connected for news and updates

The Kansas City Chiefs are in the eighth day of training camp and injuries are always a part of the game, and Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel provided an update about the injury status of the team. The biggest concern is corner back Brandon Flowers who suffered a bruised foot in Tuesday's practice and has been held out ever since.

Crennel said that Flowers would not practice in Saturday's afternoon session, and that makes sense since the Chiefs do no practice on Sunday. That extra day will allow Flowers to be heal even more without missing a practice session.

Fullback Shane Bannon is suffering from an abdominal injury, wide receiver Junior Hemingway has a groin injury and defensive lineman Ethan Johnson are all getting the Saturday afternoon session off to rest so that they can some more rest leading up to their first preseason game.
