Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp: Arizona Cardinals Bring Fresh Faces To Practice

In football, it's always frustrating for a team to do too much intrasquad scrimmaging and practicing. It's not like in basketball where 5-on-5 makes your team better. Intrasquad play doubles the risk of injury with the offense and defense going against each other.

That's why the Kansas City Chiefs welcome the Arizona Cardinals to Missouri on Tuesday with open, and hopefully tackling arms. It's not going to be an actual scrimmage, since the Cardinals did just play in the Hall of Fame game on Sunday. But neither team will show any apprehension when it comes to going full speed.

And besides, guys just get tired of each other, as Glenn Dorsey can testify:

"We get tired of going against the same guys every day," said defensive end Glenn Dorsey. "I've been going against Branden Albert every practice for five years and I want to go against somebody else. It's going to be fun, but it will also be a challenge for us to see where we're at. Guys will be excited for some new looks and we'll have fun with it."
