The Kansas City Chiefs fall to No. 25 in the SB Nation Week 2 Power Rankings following an ugly home loss to open the 2012 NFL season.

The Kansas City Chiefs' terrible showing in last Sunday's 40-24 home loss to the Atlanta Falcons leaves them in the bottom 25 percent of the league, at least according to SB Nation's Week 2 Power Rankings.

NFL Editor Joel Thorman on the Chiefs, who come in at No. 25, a two-spot drop from the Week 1 rankings:

25. Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 23, 0-1): Great game, Chiefs! Way to hang in there with the Falcons! ... Wait, they play two halves in football these days? Crap.

CBS Sports was only slightly kinder, putting the Chiefs at No. 24, while the voters at NFL.com were much more favorable, slotting KC at No. 20.

The Chiefs hit the road to take on the Buffalo Bills (0-1, No. 20 in the SB Nation rankings) this weekend.
