Chiefs Vs. Bills: Buffalo DT Marcell Dareus Will Play

Stay connected for news and updates

After rushing back to Alabama to mourn the loss of his brother, DT Marcell Dareus returned to the practice field for the Buffalo Bills on Thursday and will play on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Dareus's brother Simeon Gilmore was murdered in a triple homicide over the weekend.

Dareus said on Thursday that he would be ready to go against the Chiefs, per the Buffalo Bills' Twitter account. He also has said that he will be splitting time for a while between his family in Alabama and his 'football family' in Buffalo.

Dareus had a single tackle in Buffalo's loss to the New York Jets, a game that he and the rest of the disappointing defensive line will be looking to improve on at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday when KC comes to town.
