Fred Jackson Only Player Out For Buffalo Bills In Week 2

Running back Fred Jackson will be the only player for the Buffalo Bills that misses this weekend's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to SB Nation's Buffalo Rumblings. Jackson suffered a sprained LCL in the team's loss to the New York Jets and could miss anywhere from three to eight weeks as he recovers.

Jackson had just 15 yards on six carries before his injury in the first game of the season. The running back dealt with injuries in 2011 as well, rushing for 934 yards in ten games before being lost for the season in November. Jackson has spent his entire career with the Bills, rushing for 3,809 yards since 2007.

The Bills might have just as viable a replacement, however, with third-year running back C.J. Spiller set to take over the starting role in Jackson's absence. The shifty back rushed for 169 yards on 14 carries against the Jets, and had 561 yards on 107 carries last season.

Marcel Dareus was the only other player to show up on the injury report this week but is expected to play against the Chiefs. Dareus was dismissed from practice this week to attend the funeral of his brother.
