Dexter McCluster Injury: Chiefs WR Says He's Fine On Facebook

Stay connected for news and updates

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dexter McCluster has informed his fans that he is apparently fine, after suffering what appeared to be a gruesome elbow injury during Sunday's win over the Saints.

Via Joel Thorman at Arrowhead Pride, McCluster posted on his Facebook page that fans should not be worried:

Thanks everyone for your prayers and concerns!! But hey, don't worry about me I'll be fine!! I had the full armor of Christ on so I'm good!! Faith is always key in times like this and God always gives us oppirtunitie to show that faith!! Alright Alright Go chiefs and Hotty Toddy

As Thorman notes, this isn't exactly a ringing endorsement that McCluster's elbow is perfectly fine and he's ready to play this next week. Instead, it simply shows just how positive the receiver and how even an apparently-seriously injury like this won't change that.

McCluster was injured on the first play of the second half, when his left arm appeared to buckle when catching his weight while falling to the turf. He did not return to the game.
