Priest Holmes was among 13 new names that were made eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Thursday.
Former Kansas City Chiefs star Priest Holmes and Cowboys lineman Larry Allen are among the 13 players that were declared eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Thursday. The 13 players were added to the now 127-player pool that will be whittled down to become the class of 2013.
Along with Holmes and Allen, other big names on the first year list include such NFL greats as Warren Sapp, John Lynch and Micheal Strahan. The election process to determine who among the candidates will get a chance to be a member of the class of 2013 will come as the season starts to creep closer to the Super Bowl. The vote will come at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee’s annual meeting, which will be held on Feb. 2.
