Seattle Seahawks Sign Former Chiefs LB Gabe Miller

Stay connected for news and updates

Gabe Miller, a fifth round selection in the 2011 NFL Draft, was released by the team that drafted him when the Chiefs made final cuts last week. However, Miller wasn't out of work long as he was placed on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad on Thursday.

Most interesting about the Miller signing for the Seahawks is that the team lists him as a tight end, after he played outside linebacker with the Chiefs. This isn't the first position switch for Miller who originally joined the Oregon State Beavers as a tight end before getting moved to defensive end.

When he was drafted by the Chiefs he converted from a defensive end to an outside linebacker, but he has apparently come full circle, re-entering the tight end ranks with the Seahawks.
