The Kansas City Royals have four Gold Glove finalists.

Four Kansas City Royals players have a shot at being named the best defenders at their positions when Major League Baseball announces the winners of the 2012 Gold Glove awards.

Eric Hosmer at first base, Alex Gordon in left field, Mike Moustakas at third base and Jeff Francoeur in right field are all finalists at their positions. The winners will be announced Tuesday, Nov. 2, during the Rawlings Gold Glove Announcement Show on ESPN2 at 8:30 p.m. CT.

It'd be the second straight gold glove for Gordon and the second for Francoeur, who won the award in the National League in 2007 while with the Atlanta Braves. Hosmer and Moustakas have a shot at their first Gold Gloves in each of their second big-league seasons.

Each position has at least three finalists listed. Gordon is up against Desmond Jennings and David Murphy, Hosmer is up against Adrian Gonzalez and Mark Teixeira, Francoeur is up against Josh Reddick and Shin-Soo Choo and Moustakas is up against Adrian Beltre and Brandon Inge.
