The Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins begin their weekend series Friday.
With two teams struggling to get wins so far in the early part of the season, something is going to have to give between the 5-14 American League Central Division rivals Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins.
They're tied for last place in their division, but are actually better than their records suggest. The Royals have shown average statistics across the board this season, most certainly. But Kansas City is the winner of two straight, while the Twins come in on a five-game losing skid.
Everett Teaford will take the mound for the Royals, while Carl Pavano will take care of Minnesota's starting pitching duties.
Here is a look at the schedule and broadcasting schedule for the Friday's head-to-head:
Date/Time: Friday, April 27, 7:10 p.m. CDT
TV: Fox Sports Kansas City
Online streaming: MLB.TV
