Kansas City Royals Vs. Chicago White Sox: Saturday Probables, TV Schedule And More

Luke Hochevar looks to get himself back on track on Saturday as the Kansas City Royals continue their series against the Chicago White Sox.

To say Hochevar has struggled in his last two starts would be an understatement. On May 1 against Detroit, Hochevar allowed nine runs on 12 hits and three walks in just four innings. It didn't get much better for Hochevar in his most recent start, as he surrendered seven runs on seven hits and a walk in just two and a third innings of work against the Yankees.

The two ugly outings have ballooned Hochevar's ERA on the year to an ugly 9.00, while increasing his WHIP to 1.82 and his BAA to .336.

KC's bats will look to give Hochevar some support on Saturday. A night after being shut out by Gavin Floyd, the Royals will face reliever-turned-starter-turned-reliever-turned-starter again Chris Sale, who is 3-1 with a 2.73 ERA so far. In 33 innings, Sale has struck out 30 and walked just nine.

Televised coverage between the Royals and White Sox can be found on Fox Sports Kansas City. First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. CT.
