The Royals young starting pitcher might have thrown his last pitch this season after leaving Sunday's game with an elbow injury.
One of the few bright spots for the Kansas City Royals this season was the performance of starting pitcher Danny Duffy, who showed glimpses of ace potential in his six starts this season. However, as Jon Hildebrand hints, it might be a long time before we see Duffy on the mound again after he left Sunday's start in the first inning with an elbow injury.
No clue yet.MRI today to see if there's any damage.Either way, he's going to be shelved for a while, even if TJ surgery isn't needed.

It wouldn't be a surprise if Duffy has thrown his last pitch for the Royals this season. The Royals are already without starting pitcher Jonathan Sanchez, who was placed on the disabled list on May 8 with left biceps tendinitis.
