Sports history is littered with horrible renditions of the National Anthem, and that's not surprising given how all attention is paid to one person at that very moment. The very set-up is bound to lead to issues here or there. While Luke Bryan avoided any major catastrophe at the 2012 MLB All-Star Game, he definitely made some people wonder what he was doing when looking down at his hand and wrist while singing on national television.
During the broadcast, which you can see below, Bryan said he was checking out the lyrics to the song and his watch as well. He later explained that he didn't want to miss the timing for a flyover by a stealth bomber. However, it's still a bit funny to watch. You can check out his take below:
