Royals Vs. Blue Jays: Mike Moustakas Hits Grand Slam In 11-3 Win

Mike Moustakas went 2-for-5 with a grand slam to lead the Royals to an 11-3 win over the Blue Jays on Monday night in Toronto.

The win broke a three-game losing streak for the Royals.

Everett Teaford got the start for Kansas City and allowed three earned runs on five hits over seven innings, picking up the win. The Blue Jays scored opened the scoring in the bottom of the first, but Salvador Perez hit a two-run homer in the top of the second and KC never trailed again. Perez went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

The Royals had two-run innings in the third and fourth to take a 6-2 lead. Moustakas' grand slam came in a five-run seventh. Kelvin Herrera and Tim Collins pitched one perfect innings each.

Jason Bourgeois went 3-for-3 with a run scored, while Eric Hosmer went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
