Royals Vs. Angels Preview: Wednesday Game Time, TV Info And More
After defeating the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Tuesday night 4-1, the Kansas City Royals will look to take the rubber game of their three-game series this afternoon at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.
Luke Hochevar (6-8, 4.91 ERA) will take the mound for the Royals, looking to continue his strong run of form over the past six weeks. Hochevar has given up three earned runs of less in six of his last seven starts, including his last start when he gave up five hits and one run in seven innings against the Minnesota Twins.
The Angels will counter with Jered Weaver (12-1, 2.20 ERA), who is having yet another Cy Young caliber season. Weaver has given up two earned runs or less in eight of his last nine starts. In his last time out against the Texas Rangers on July 20, Weaver gave up six hits and one earned run in seven innings of work
