The Royals travel to Fenway Park to take on the Red Sox in a four-game series.
The Kansas City Royals begin a four-game set against the Boston Red Sox Friday on the road and will try to continue their winning ways after going 6-3 over their last nine games. Both teams are pretty much out of the playoff hunt, so this series will be one of many where each team will be playing for respect.
The starting pitching matchup leaves much to be desired as the Royals are sending out Bruce Chen, who is only 9-10 this year while the Red Sox are countering with Jon Lester, who is 7-10. Plus, both starters have an ERA over five, so this could be a game that sees a lot of offense and early bullpen work.
Date/Time: Friday, Aug. 25, 6:10 p.m. CT
Location: Fenway Park, Boston
TV: Fox Sports Kansas City
Radio: KCSP 610
Probable Starters: Bruce Chen (9-10, 5.45 ERA) vs. Jon Lester (7-10, 5.03 ERA)
