Angels Vs. Royals: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

Stay connected for news and updates

The Kansas City Royals resume their weekend series with the Los Angeles Angels when the two teams meet on Saturday night at Kauffman Stadium.

The Royals hope to get back to the wins column, after losing Friday when Kendrys Morales hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning to help lead the Angels to a come-from-behind, 9-7 win.

Kansas City is scheduled to start right-hander Jeremy Guthrie (7-12, 5.06 ERA), who has pitched well of late, including his last start against the Chicago White Sox when he took a tough no decision despite throwing eight shutout innings.

The Angels will counter with right-hander Zack Greinke (14-5, 3.68 ERA) who will carry a four-game winning streak to the mound. The Angels are 7-3 in their last 10 games and remain in the AL Wild Card race at 2.5 games out.

The game is scheduled to start at 6:10 p.m. CT and will be shown on MLB.TV and Fox Sports West.
