As everyone knows by now, the Kansas Jayhawks lost to the Texas Longhorns on Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse. The No. 2 team in the country losing is a story in itself but on top of that KU basketball also lost at home for the first time in nearly four years.
↵The last time Kansas lost at Allen Fieldhouse was Feb. 3, 2007 in a 69-66 battle to Texas A&M. That stretch was 69 consecutive home wins for the Jayhawks.
↵There is one player on the roster who has experience a defeat at Allen Fieldhouse -- Brady Morningstar.
↵↵↵↵↵"It hurts. You don't like to lose. Obviously we had the streak going. We're not playing to keep the streak alive. We're playing to get a win. It happens. You've got to bounce back."
↵
The previous record for a home winning streak was 62 games from 1994-98.
