Kansas Vs. Texas Injury Update: Linebacker Huldon Tharp To Return Saturday

Stay connected for news and updates

Kansas Jayhawks sophomore linebacker Huldon Tharp will play against Texas Saturday, according to reports quoting head coach Turner Gill.

Tharp is a reserve linebacker who has seen time on special teams this season, and is tenth on the team in total tackles, with 17. Tharp missed two weeks with a rib injury. Still out for the Jayhawks is linebacker Jake Fairley (leg). Both defensive tackle John Wililams (knee) and receiver Daymond Patterson (groin) are out for the season.

Texas has two questionable players entering Saturday - linebacker Demarco Cobbs (forearm) and receiver John Harris (foot), while cornerback Adrian Phillips will miss the game with a shoulder injury. Replacing Phillips will be Quandre Diggs, and two freshmen corners - Josh Turner and Mykkele Thompson - could see time.
