The Kansas Jayhawks look to continue their dominance over the Texas Tech Red Raiders Wednesday night in Lubbock.

The Kansas Jayhawks look to make it four straight and 21 of 25 in this series as Bill Self and his young men take their talents to the United Spirit Arena in Lubbock, Texas versus the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

The folks over at The University Daily Kansan highlight some intriguing subplots coming into Wednesday's game, as the streaky wing player Travis Releford and the Texas Tech offense go under the microscope.

Question Mark: Who is the real Travis Releford?

Is it the stalwart defender who chips in anywhere from six to 12 points, or the always aggressive machine in the fast break, capable of scoring 20 or more? Both versions are rooted in defense, though Self could always use more offense with this season’s McLemore-less team.

Question Mark: Will the Texas Tech offense wake up?

The Red Raiders are 212th in the country in scoring, getting just 66.6 points per game. They've scored 75 or more points on just two occasions this season and are averaging just 62.5 points in four games against BCS conference opponents. In Kansas' three losses, the Jayhawks have given up 74 points. Texas Tech would need to score eight points more than their season average to reach that marker.

The Jayhawks and the Red Raiders tip-off at 8:00 p.m. Central Time on ESPNU and ESPN3.
