Kansas and Missouri essentially stay in place in the latest college basketball rankings.

The latest college basketball polls are out and the Kansas Jayhawks and Missouri Tigers are holding steady where they started the season. The latest AP Poll has the Jayhawks at No. 7 once again in a week where everyone stayed the same at the top. The Indiana Hoosiers remain the top team in the country, and this is the time of year when teams rarely face stiff competition.

That being said, Kansas is tilting the trend this week in the Champions Classic as they face the Michigan State Spartans on Tuesday. Kentucky is also involved in the field, so things could get interesting very quickly in the polls for next week.

As for the Tigers, they knocked off Southeast Missouri State and moved up 1 spot to No. 14 after starting the season at No. 15. The Tigers were rusty against SEMO and all of Frank Haith's talent may take some time to adjust and gel together as a team.
