The Kansas Jayhawks continue play in the 2012 NCAA Tournament against NC State in the Sweet 16.
The Kansas Jayhawks will try to avoid last year's fate in the Sweet 16 when they take on 11th-seeded NC State Friday night. It was one year ago that the Jayhawks took on VCU and lost as the Rams eventually advanced on to the Final Four.
The Jayhawks are focused this time around and are not overlooking any team no matter what they happen to be seeded. Kansas guard Tyshawn Taylor sizes up the Wolfpack:
"That team is capable of being a three or four seed," Taylor added. "They didn't have the best out-of-conference record, or even conference, but they're a good team and they won some big games. It's going to be a tough challenge for us. They're going to come ready to play."
Game Date/Time: Friday, March 23, 10:17 p.m. ET
Location: Edward jones Dome, St. Louis, Missouri
