NBA Draft Rumors: Chicago Bulls Reportedly Set On Tyshawn Taylor

Stay connected for news and updates

The Chicago Bulls were among the best teams in the NBA this season and, at times, were likely considered to be the best. Yet an injury to Derrick Rose ruined those hopes and the balance of power in the Eastern Conference has shifted to the Miami Heat. While Rose is coming back in 2012-13, the Bulls are apparently looking at a Plan B for the point guard position for next season via the 2012 NBA Draft, just in case.

Taylor was one of two star players for the Kansas Jayhawks, who surprised many by getting all the way to the final game of the NCAA Tournament. He's a fringe first rounder who fits well with the No. 29 overall choice in the draft as well. The Bulls could use depth at point guard, and Taylor's quickness wil play well on that roster.

Of course, nothing is certain until the cards are turned in and the news announced tonight. But it's possible that Taylor plays for an instant contender in his rookie season in the NBA.
