Kansas State Vs. Oklahoma Score: Wildcats Score 17 Straight Points To Take A 17-14 Lead

Stay connected for news and updates

After falling behind 14-0, the Kansas St. Wildcats are making a comeback against the Oklahoma Sooners. After kicking a 53-yard field goal to get on the board, quarterback Collin Klein and the rushing game came alive on their third drive. Klein, running back John Hubert and Tyler Lockett led the rushing charge on the 78-yard drive. Klein as he has done all year led the attack by gaining 55 of those yards and scored on a 42-yard touchdown run to narrow the deficit to 14-10.

Then the Kansas State defense stepped up when Nigel Malone read the out pattern and intercepted Landry Jones, and then returned it 22 yards to the Oklahoma's 47 yard line. The Kansas State offense kept up the momentum from that interception and on the first play Klein had another big run by rushing for 32 yards and then Hubert ran for 11 yards to put Kansas State at the two. On the third play Klein ran it in for two yards to put Kansas State up 17-14 over Oklahoma which capped off 17 straight points for the Wildcats.
