The Kansas State Wildcats take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday in Stillwater.
The Kansas State Wildcats are coming off an embarrassing loss at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners last week in Manhattan. But just to say that head coach Bill Snyder has been there before would be an understatement. He's got the right mindset for this team moving forward and while Oklahoma State is a fantastic team, you shouldn't expect a repeat performance by the Wildcats this week.
In his weekly press conference Bill Snyder provided the message that he sends to his players and his staff, via K-State Sports official twitter page.
"What our team has to prove is what we expect from our team - to get better week in and week out."
That seems like a very simple-minded message and to some extent it's true. But at a time in which many of the players may be having some confidence issues because of the loss to the Sooners, it's the perfect message to send to these players before another big match-up with the Oklahoma State Sooners. The Wildcats are still in the Big XII Championship race and they'll need to play at their best on Saturday to have a chance to take down a powerful Oklahoma State team.
