Kansas State used a 19-6 run midway through the second half to score a come-from-behind 71-58 victory Saturday night over No. 23 Alabama.
Jordan Henriquez and Angel Rodriguez sparked the Wildcats' comeback in the second half. Henriquez finished with a team-high 17 points and eight rebounds and was set up continuously by Rodriguez who totaled 13 points and seven assists. Jamar Samuels chipped in 14 points for the Wildcats who improve to 7-1 on the season and 5-0 on their home floor.
JaMychal Green scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Alabama in the loss. Trevor Releford finished with 14 points and Tony Mitchell chipped in 10. Alabama has now lost three of its last four games to fall to 8-3 on the season.
