Kansas State Vs. Iowas State Final Score: Wildcats Hold Off Cyclones To Win 30-23

The Iowa St. Cyclones nearly upset another ranked team as they gave the No. 11 Kansas St. Wildcats all they could handle. The two teams exchanged runs throughout the game and the largest lead during the game by any team was only seven points, but Iowa State ultimately came up short in this game.

Iowa State was able to get up early on Kanas State 13-7 in the first quarter, but then Kansas State mounted a run by scoring 13 straight points on a pair of field goals and a touchdown to go up 20-7. From then on the two teams each scored 10 points. The game came down to the wire as Iowa State kicked a field goal to tie the game at 23 with 6:12 left in the game, but Kansas State was able to go five plays on 66 yards for the game winning touchdown on the next possession. 

The winning score came on a 26-yard touchdown run by John Hubert, that score was Hubert's only on the day and the run put him over 100 yards on the day and Hubert finished with 126 yards. Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein had another good game by throwing for 158 yards and a touchdown and he also rushed for 86 yards and another score.
