A 41-yard field goal by Anthony Cantele has put Kansas State ahead, 3-0, after one quarter, but Iowa State is driving into Wildcat territory.

The No. 6 Kansas State Wildcats lead the Iowa State Cyclones, 3-0, after one quarter in Ames, Iowa. Iowa State, however, is threatening to score as they have been driving and will have the ball at the Kansas State 2-yard line to begin the second quarter.

The only points of the first quarter came on a 41-yard field goal by Anthony Cantele with 6:42 left in the quarter. Cantele's field goal capped a 14-play, 58-yard drive.

Quarterback Collin Klein is 4-for-6 passing on the day, gaining 39 yards while also rushing for 17 yards.

The Iowa State offense has out-gained Kansas State 89-68, even though the Wildcats have gained one more first down than the Cyclones.

Kansas State comes into the game 6-0 on the season and 2-0 in Big-12 play after beating Kansas by 40 points last week. The Cyclones are 4-1 on the season, 1-1 in conference, coming in off of a 37-23 upset of TCU a week ago.

The game is being broadcast on FX.
