The Kansas State Wildcats held onto their spot at No. 6 in SB Nation's BlogPoll, and they enter a Week 6 that will likely shakeup the top 10.
SB Nation's new BlogPoll is out and the Kansas State Wildcats continue to carry the banner for the Big 12, slotting in at No. 6 after an idle weekend. The BlogPoll ranks the Wildcats higher than the Coaches' Poll or AP Poll, jumping the SEC's South Carolina. The Gamecocks face No. 5 Georgia this weekend, which will certainly add further shakeup inside the top seven where the Wildcats are perched.
Aside from the SEC, the Big 12 is the only conference with multiple members in the BlogPoll top 10. West Virginia comes in two spots behind K-State at No. 8. The Mountaineers and Wildcats will clash this month in Morgantown, but WVU must first go on the road this week to face Texas. The Longhorns welcome WVU to Austin for their first road game in their new conference. Texas is currently No. 10 in the poll, so the outcome of that game will also jostle the top 10. Here's the complete Week 6 BlogPoll:
