The Wildcats will face the Cowboys in a nationally televised game on ABC on Saturday night.
No. 2 Kansas State will play No. 24 Oklahoma State in a featured primetime game on Saturday at 7 p.m. on ABC, according to a team press release.
The Wildcats (8-0, 5-0) have entered the national championship conversation in recent weeks, thanks to convincing wins over Oklahoma, West Virginia and Texas Tech. Kansas State dominated a very good Red Raiders team this past week in a 55-24 victory over the team that was previously No. 14 in the nation.
Oklahoma State (5-2, 3-1) has won three straight games since a tough loss to Texas on Sept. 29, including a 36-14 win over TCU on Saturday. The Cowboys offense will be a tough test for the No. 13 defense in the FBS, with Oklahoma State averaging 44.3 points per game so far this season.
The Wildcats currently sit atop the Big 12 standings and will have the opportunity to be considered as serious challengers to No. 1 Alabama with a convincing win on Saturday night.
