Iowa State is making noise and hopes to ruin Kansas State's undefeated season this Saturday.
The sixth-ranked Kansas State Wildcats will have one more bump in the road before a potential undefeated-vs.-undefeated matchup with West Virginia when they travel to face the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday.
The Wildcats (5-0, 2-1 Big 12) would be wise not to overlook their next opponent, however. Iowa State has made a habit of upsetting top-25 teams and is a much improved team in its own right after starting the year 4-1 (1-1). The Cyclones even found themselves on the Coaches' poll at No. 25 following a 37-23 win last weekend over previously-unbeaten TCU. The win gave the Cyclones three road wins over top 25 teams in the past three seasons.
Kansas State is rolling following a 56-16 trouncing of rival Kansas last weekend.
Saturday's game from Ames, Iowa, is set for an 11 a.m. CT kickoff and will be broadcast nationally by FX.
