Kansas State beat the TCU Horned Frogs 23-10 on Saturday to move to 10-0 overall and 7-0 in Big 12 play, but the Horned Frogs put up quite a fight against the Wildcats. Their defense in particular played a solid game against the strong Wildcats offense, holding them to only 23 points, the fewest that the Collin Klein-led offense has put on the board all season long.
Wildcats head coach Bill Snyder levied praise onto the TCU defense after the game, saying, "We had to try to find ways to move the ball, and it got to a point where we were conservative in order to get the game over with. The score dictated that."
The members of the Wildcats team also had kind words to say about the defensive performance of the Horned Frogs. Senior running back Angelo Pease said in the same press conference, "TCU's defense is a little bit different than everyone else. They do a lot of shifting and motion that took us a little time to adjust to it and to be able for us to put some drives together. TCU is probably one of the most physical teams we have played all season. They are very good."
