Kansas State looks to continue its undefeated march Saturday night against Baylor. The Bears just hope to become bowl eligible.
Collin Klein gets a national spotlight Saturday night to showcase his Heisman Trophy credentials while leading the Kansas State Wildcats into Waco, Texas, to take on the Baylor Bears.
Baylor, clinging to ever-fading bowl-eligibility hopes, is one of two teams left on the Wildcats' regular-season schedule. Kansas State (10-0), sitting pretty atop the latest BCS standings, faces a must-win situation in both its remaining games, as a one-loss Big 12 team isn't likely to overtake still-undefeated Oregon or Notre Dame, or even a one-loss SEC champion Alabama or Georgia. The Wildcats close their regular season next weekend at home against the Texas Longhorns.
The Bears (4-5) are just looking for two more wins to gain a shot at a bowl berth. Baylor has three games remaining, all at home -- closing the season with Texas Tech and Oklahoma State the final two weeks.
The Wildcats are 10-point road favorites over the Baylor Bears. The teams meet at 7 p.m. CT Saturday night in a game televised by ESPN.
