When the news broke that the Kansas State Wildcats had chosen Bruce Weber to be their next head coach on Saturday, I can imagine that former Wildcats star Jacob Pullen made a face that would make Russell Westbrook jealous. Being a Chicago native, I'd imagine that along with his K-State allegiance, Pullen had a desire to play basketball for the Illinois Fighting Illini. When it came to chose a school, Pullen wanted to play for Illinois, but who was the coach there and didn't want his services?
Yep, Bruce Weber.
Per Mr. Pullen's twitter feed, here are the former Wildcats' thoughts on Weber bringing his talents to Manhattan.
Bruce Webber didn't think I was good enough to play at Illinois and I don't think he is good enough to coach at Kansas State

Its a tough spot for Kansas State, as there's no young coach out there that really is primed to come in and take over the Wildcats job, but you'd like to think that you could potentially do better than hire the coach that was just fired by his former employer just 22 days ago.
Kansas State needs to understand what it is. No big-time current coach was coming to Manhattan. Bruce Weber is good move.

Bruce Weber, you've got some work to do when you land in Manhattan sir. Good luck to you.
