Kansas State's Bill Snyder: 'We Were Not Well Prepared' Against North Texas

After a 35-21 win over the North Texas Mean Green, Kansas State coach Bill Snyder focused on the necessary adjustments he felt his team needs to make during the upcoming week of practice.

"There probably is not anything that we do not need to improve on. That is true for both sides of the ball," Snyder added.

Kansas State started slow against North Texas, failing to convert a first down in the first quarter. K-State then jumped out to a 14-7 lead and never looked back. The Wildcats put the game away late, going up 35-13 thanks to a fine day from quarterback Collin Klein. Klein finished the day with 238 yards through the air and an additional 84 yards on the ground.

Snyder noted that the team did enough to win, but that the team's preparation was questionable.

"I do not know if I am surprised. If you do not prepare yourself well, most anything can happen. We were not very well prepared," Snyder said.
