The Kansas State Wildcats finished 12th in the final college football rankings of 2012-13.

The last college football AP Top 25 rankings were released today after the conclusion of the BCS title game. The Kansas St. Wildcats finished 12th overall in the final rankings after getting overrun by the Oregon Ducks in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl. Kansas State ended up 7th in the AP rankings and 5th overall after the conclusion of the season.

Kansas State had a remarkable run this season that saw them climb all the way to number one in the polls. They ran their record all the way to 10-0, winning on the road against opponents like Oklahoma and West Virginia and beating Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Texas at home. Kansas State was upset by Baylor though, which ended up spoiling their shot at a national championship. The Wildcats did end up winning the Big 12, although they did end up finishing the season on a sour note with their defeat to the Ducks.
