SB Nation has unveiled the Week 5 edition of the college football BlogPoll.
Where's Missouri?
Neatly filed under "Others receiving votes."
It would appear that Mizzou is getting awfully close to appearing the BlogPoll's top 25.
Mizzou football is off this weekend so we're not going to see them jump up because of a win. It's possible they sneak in next week if one of the lower ranked teams blows it.
For now...Mizzou waits.

The Kansas Jayhawks do not appear in the college football 25 AP poll, which now becomes the least surprising news of your week.
The college football rankings have been out for five weeks now and KU football has yet to appear.
2-2 through four games makes it a no-brainer that they they're not ranked.
The good news for KU? They've got a young quarterback who will get plenty of experience moving forward so they have a shot to appear in these polls in future years.
Mizzou is ranked and KU is not...something is familiar about this college football season.

Mizzou football can't crack the college football AP poll.
They're sitting in 23rd in the USA Today coaches poll but haven't yet appeared in the AP poll.
Eh, what do college football rankings mean anyway? Oh...yeah. They mean a lot.
College football is barely a month old and here's where the top 25 stands:
Next stop for Mizzou football will be Colorado on Oct. 9 for the start of conference play. Some tougher opponents and some tougher victories should land Mizzou in the top 25.

Kansas did not appear in the USA Today coaches poll this week after their victory this weekend.
What, you mean a New Mexico State victory doesn't count for big points in the USA Today coaches poll?
The college football rankings won't mean much to KU this season as they've already dropped two games.
If they had beaten North Dakota State, and sitting at 3-1, then maybe we'd start talking college football rankings with Kansas if they were able to go on a run to start Big 12 Conference play.
College football is entering Week 5 and the Jayhawks sit at 2-2.

Mizzou football continues to climb the college football rankings going from No. 25 to No. 24 to Week 5 where they are No. 23 in the latest USA Today coaches poll.
Mizzou is sitting at 4-0 and done with their non-conference schedule. With the exception of a near-scare against San Diego State and a close first half against Illinois, Mizzou has pretty much dominated.
Here's the landscape of college football in Week 5:
The Big 12 surprise of the week was Texas' loss. They dropped from 4th to 16th.
Next stop for Mizzou: Colorado comes to Faurot Field in two weeks.
