Oregon Ducks Guard Jabari Brown Transfers To Missouri Tigers, According To Source

Former 5-star recruit and Oregon Ducks freshman Jabari Brown was supposed to be the chosen one that helped head coach Dana Altman turn the basketball program in Eugene into resembling the football program. Yet, after two games and just 12 points, the player ranked No. 19 by Rivals.com for the Class of 2011 decided to leave the Ducks basketball program.

Where is Brown's next stop? Columbia, Missouri.

This is a huge pickup for the Missouri Tigers basketball program, and if Frank Haith can get the star-crossed guard back on track then the Tigers could look to be a dark horse candidate to win the SEC championship in 2012-13. On December 10th, Brown took a visit to the campus, where he watched the Tigers beat Navy. Now 9 days later Brown has committed.
