After coming up victorious in their "Bragging Rights" victory over Illinois, Missouri is now ranked No. 8 in the country and must avoid the typical trap game.
Sometimes after getting a big win, there's a tendency for a let down by the victorious team. For the Missouri Tigers, their big 78-74 win versus their rival Illinois Fighting Illini in the annual "Bragging Rights" game played in St. Louis, Frank Haith's squad has been rewarded with a No. 8 national ranking and some respect by the national media.
But will this team drop the ball before Big 12 play begins in 2012?
Up next on the schedule for the Tigers are the Old Dominion Monarchs, a team who always plays tough and made the tournament last year. At 6-6, they don't come across as an imposing opponent, its the type of game that can be a trap for any team riding an emotional high.
