Jeff Blake-US PRESSWIRE

Missouri steps out of conference late in the season, as they host Syracuse.

The Missouri Tigers are taking a break from SEC play so that they can host the Big East's Syracuse Orange. This game has bowl implications as both teams are sitting at 5-5, so the winner will come out bowl eligible.

This game for Missouri is the best chance of earning the coveted sixth win, as the following week they go on the road to face Texas A&M in their season finale.

Missouri is running high on momentum as they defeated Tennessee last week in four overtimes, and the same can be said for Syracuse as they defeated previously undefeated Louisville.

However, Missouri will be without their best defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson, who is out due to the mysterious violation of team rules. The defense should still be serviceable, but losing their best defender is never good.

Date/Time: Sat., Nov. 17, 6 p.m. CT

Location: Faurot Field, Columbia, Mo.

TV: ESPNU

Streaming: WatchESPN

Odds: Missouri is a 6.5-point favorite.
