Missouri gains its 26th win on the season with a second half comeback on Senior Night against the Cyclones.
Senior Night got off to a rougher start than what was likely predicted given Missouri's No. 8 ranking in the polls, but Iowa State has proven to be a pesky opponent. Then again, that might have been predicted given the Cyclones fourth place ranking in the Big 12 at 11-5 coming into tonight's action. As for now, the Cyclones have the halftime lead 40-36 at Missouri.
Thus far, the three-point range of the Cyclones along with their offensive rebounding has kept the Tigers at bay. The Cyclones have six three-point baskets compared to the Tigers with two. They also have a tremendous rebounding edge with 8 offensive boards that has led to some second chance points.
Royce White leads the Cyclones with 14 points and 6 assists at the half. Ricardo Ratliffe has 10 points for the Tigers, while Kim English has 9.

On a night when Missouri will honor its winningest senior class in school history (over four years, the class of 2012 has led the Tigers to a record-breaking 102 victories), it also looks to rebound from a two-game losing skid. Mizzou lost the Big 12 Conference lead with losses to Kansas State and at Kansas, allowing the Jayhawks to clinch at least a share of the conference title with a win over Oklahoma State Tuesday.
Missouri's athletic site breaks down the roster of the Tigers' outgoing class:
Among those being honored are G Marcus Denmon (9th on MU's alltime scoring list), G Kim English (13th on MU's alltime scoring list), F Ricardo Ratliffe (on pace to break the MU shooting % record), G Matt Pressey (Dallas, Texas), F Steve Moore (Kansas City, Mo.), G Jarrett Sutton (Kansas City, Mo.), as well as F Andy Rosburg (St. Louis, Mo.) and F Andrew Jones (Smithville, Mo.).

Missouri Vs. Iowa State Final Score: Tigers Come Back In Second Half To Win 78-72
For a while, the score was closer than anyone connected with Mizzou would have liked, but the talent for Frank Haith's No. 8 Missouri Tigers was too much for the Iowa State Cyclones to handle on the road as the Tigers pulled ahead for good in the second half to win their 26th game on the season with tonight's 78-72 win.
After being down 40-36 in the first half, the Tigers multi-dimensional scoring attack shut down the long-range weaponry of the Cyclones. Despite ISU's 12 three-point field goals, the Tigers climbed ahead on the backs of their seniors here on the night set aside to honor them all. Michael Dixon led the Tigers with 21 points on 8 of 10 shooting. Ricardo Ratliffe also had 16 points, while Marcus Denmon and Kim English added 14 and 13 respectively.
Royce White had 20 points to pace the Cyclones who are now at 11-6 in the conference and should still have solid positioning heading into the NCAA Tournament.
