After falling to the South Carolina Gamecocks, the Missouri Tigers will look to rebound against the UCF Knights on Saturday.
Both of the wins that the Missouri Tigers have picked up so far in 2012 were out of their new conference, the SEC. With that in mind, they'll probably be plenty happy to face off against the decidedly non-SEC Central Florida Knights on Saturday after getting knocked around by the South Carolina Gamecocks the weekend before.
Just like against South Carolina, dual-threat quarterback James Franklin is most likely going to get the start for the Tigers. Franklin started the season strong against Southeastern Louisiana, before falling prey to injury and missing the next couple of games as he refused painkillers. He should be back to full health to lead the Mizzou offense on Saturday, as the Tigers look to get their overall record back to 3-2 - even as they sit winless in conference play.
UCF has gone 2-1 so far in 2012, putting wins up on Akron and Florida International while dropping a game to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Quarterback
Mizzou and UCF have never met on the gridiron before.
The game will be in Orlando at 11 a.m. CT. It will be televised on FSN.
