NBA Standings 2012: Thunder Leading Northwest Division Over Nuggets

Oklahoma City lead the Northwest division by 2.5 games over the Denver Nuggets.

Jan 29, 2012 - The Oklahoma City Thunder are slowly starting to separate themselves from the pack in the Northwest Division. The Thunder have won four games in a row and now lead 2.5 games over the Denver Nuggets. After losing two in a row back on Jan. 2 and 3 the Thunder have won 11 of 12 games with the only lose coming to the lowly Washington Wizards.

The Portland Trailblazers and Utah Jazz are hanging around by being 4.5 games back of the Thunder, but they need to be more consistent if they want to jump up and catch the Thunder.

Outside of leading the Northwest division the Thunder also have the best record in the NBA.
