Thunder vs. Spurs score: San Antonio goes on a late run, lead 45-40 at the half

The Oklahoma City Thunder are having a tough night shooting ball, but despite shooting just 34 percent from the field they only trail the San Antonio Spurs by five, and are down 45-40 at the half. Free throw shooting is how the Thunder are hanging around, they are 11-of-12 from the line.

Kevin Durant is leading the Thunder with 12 points, and Russell Westbrook has chipped in with nine points. The newest member of the Thunder, Kevin Martin has come off the bench and has seven first half points.

While the offense has struggled, the defense has not played particularly well either. They have allowed the Spurs to shoot 48.7 percent from the field, and Tim Duncan is leading the way for San Antonio with 12 points and five rebounds.

Heading into the second quarter the Thunder had a three-point lead, but the Spurs were able to pull ahead by going on a 9-2 run late in the second half to take a five-point lead at the break.
