The Oklahoma City Thunder went 1-1 over the weekend, and now are 1-2 on the young season.

The 2012 NBA season tipped off across the league last week, and the Oklahoma City Thunder were in action over the weekend, playing a game on Friday and Sunday.

The defending Western Conference champions went 1-1 over the weekend, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night, 106-92, before losing to the Atlanta Hawks at home on Sunday, 104-95.

The loss on Sunday dropped the Thunder to 1-2 on the young season.

Like the Thunder, the Blazers (2-1) also went 1-1 over the weekend, and now lead the Northwest Division by half a game over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Portland defeated the Houston Rockets on Sunday, 95-85, in overtime.

Elsewhere in the Western Conference, the Los Angeles Lakers finally notched their first win of the season on Sunday, after starting 0-3. The Lakers fell to the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, 105-95, before defeating the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night, 108-79.
