OKC's Kevin Durant was named Western Conference Player of the Week after leading the team to four wins last week.

Kevin Durant was named the Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday for leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to four wins last week, running the team's winning streak to five games.

Durant averaged 25.0 points per game, 6.3 rebounds per game and 2.5 blocks per game while leading OKC to wins over the Charlotte Bobcats, Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz and New Orleans Hornets last week. He scored a season-high 37 over the Rockets on Nov. 28.

Durant has been a key cog for an OKC team that's right at the top of the Western Conference. At 14-4, the Thunder are tied with the San Antonio Spurs and right behind the Memphis Grizzlies for the top spot in the conference. The Thunder look to make it six straight wins Tuesday night when they travel to Brooklyn for the first time to play the Nets.

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony won Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors.
